Status for Automatic SQL tuning task is INTERRUPTED

In 11.2.0.1 database, automatic sql tuning task (sql tuning advisor) ends up with RUNNING status lately. You also find "process hung" and subsequent kill statements related to the task in alert log file. After reviewing all available technical resources in MOS, i dropped and recreated the task successfully. Now same task ends up with status as "INTERRUPTED". I also increased the TIME_LIMIT and LOCAL_TIME_LIMIT parameters to a higher value so that it will have enough time to complete the execution. Even after going from a default of 1200 to 12600 (4.5hrs), it still ends up with the same status "INTERRUPTED".
