How the new_cost get calculated and populated in MTL_CST_ACTUAL_COST_DETAILS table

HI team,

We are using Average costing with FIFO method. I want to know How the NEW_COST get calculated and populated in 'MTL_CST_ACTUAL_COST_DETAILS' for Sales order issue and wip assy completion types of transactions
