oracle e-Business suite 12.1 extended support fee waived clarification
Hi,
We are using oracle e-Business suite 12.1.3. Premier support of release 12.1 end date in Dec 16 while extended support end date is Dec 19. As per Oracle announcement extended support fee for 12.1 is waived. My understanding is that now we will get all support components of extended support automatically till Dec 19 without any additional fee and agreement including security and system patches with no condition of pre-existing. So we can remain on 12.1 till Dec 19 without any issue as will get support including issues required development by Oracle by just paying normal support charges as we are paying during premier support period.
I want to confirm this due to past experience when we were using 12.0 and in extended support period Oracle support refuse for providing proper support against SR with explanation that issue requires development work which we do not provide after premier support period although there was also extended support fee waive announcement for 12.0 release.
