Upgrading to EPM 11.1.2.4 with a new install.

The 11.1.2.4 Installation and Config. Guide appears not to describe upgrade steps as seen in documentation for earlier versions suggesting that the only way to get to this latest release is by way of a maintenance release. (For example the 11.1.2.3 guide contains a section 'Upgrading EPM System Products'.)

In a scenario where we might want to move our 11.1.2.2 Planning installation to 11.1.2.4 on new servers I would expect first to have to do a new install for 11.1.2.4 and subsequently upgrade the old applications.

Is there not a supported/documented path for doing this?
