Issue migrating FRA to ASM

Hello Experts,

I'm using an Oracle Database Appliance and recently noticed the FRA was using File System Storage instead of  our 'RECO' ASM disk group. I ran the following command on all nodes on several appliances without issues:

SQL> alter system  set db_recovery_file_dest='+RECO' scope=both SID='*';

All appliances began using the new FRA location except for one, which is throwing the following error:

WARNING: group 2 is being dismounted.

WARNING: ASMB force dismounting group 2 (RECO) due to missing disks

SUCCESS: diskgroup RECO was dismounted

Wed Apr 08 15:58:21 2015

Unable to create archive log file '+RECO'
