How to Change a UOM values without major system impact?

URGENT!! - Please help!  ... During implementation, incorrect UDC created ... need to update without loss of business processing....

1. - Need to find all transactions containing "GL" (GALLONS - incorrect UDC) and update with "GA" (correct UDC)

2. - Update F41002 to remove GL and update to GA

3.   Ensure that update does not impact business functions, run integrity report(s) to verify.
