HFM Report to Excel has text format for negative numbers

When exporting HFM 11.1.2.1 report to Excel 2010, negative numbers are formatted as text while positive numbers are formatted as number. Users must reformat tthe numbers before they can use the spreadsheets.  Is there anything we can do to fix this problem?
