Journal lost in system

We ran into an issue with table space when running the PRC: Create Accounting request, the Accounting Program ended in error.  The table space issue was resolved. But now when we go to run the PRC: Create Accounting again it says there are no events to pick up. The journal is list in limbo, has anyone experiened this issue? How do we push the journal through to GL?
