CMRO - Do we need to create a new Inv Org?
Hi,
We have a business requirement to merge Manufacturing Inventory org and CMRO (EAM) Enabled inventory org since physically both locations are same with two different shops (one for MFG and one for Repair) but all RAW purchased materials are stored in the same location.
In knowledge base found this note: Why create a new organization for EAM instead of using an existing one? (Doc ID 947860.1)
But, both our MFG and CMRO Orgs are Avg Cost enabled. Is it must to keep both of them separate ? If not, would there be any other challenges that we should consider before merging?
