Lot Control Retest Date to drive a rework action

I have a product that needs to be recharged every 365 days.  I would like to use lot control and the retest date to drive a task to move the items out of inventory in to a rework process and then issue back into inventory with an updated retest date.

We are using R12 12.2.3

I am open to any suggestions.
