What is the Significance of Customer in Assignment Set.

Hi Guys,

Could you please help me understand what is the significance of Customer/Customer Site in the Assignment Set Window.

An Organization will procure the item from the specific Supplier mentioned in the Sourcing Rule and ship to Customer.

I want to understand what is the need of Customer while sourcing/procuring the item to the organization.
