Configuring SSO from an external app to Siebel SI application

Hi,

 

We are in process of configuring SSO between an external (non-siebel) application with a custom in-house Siebel SI application. We did our research in this area in Oracle Support documentation but couldn't find anything relevant to SI application. Is it possible? Can you please point us to some technical documentation or similar environment where this has been implemented, to work around this requirement?
