Could I deactivate the allow budget flag without impact from an account flexfield

We are implementing Hyperion Planning and we have an integration with EBS. We only wants to use in Planning the account checked with the flag allow budgeting flag in EBS. But since we implemented EBS few years ago, the GL Admin checks all accounts with this flag. Now we want to uncheck the flags to those accounts that are not necessary in the budget process but we would like to know if there some impact.  Any help will be appreciated.
