How to change an existing customer funding a project??

Hi Experts,

There is a customer with 100% contribution funding a project and recently this customer has changed its name and number. Our client wants to use this new customer for funding this project.

Can we change the old customer record in Projects customers and contacts?

Please let me know how can we fulfill this requirement.
