OPM Picking doesnt look at the Supply Subinventory specified on Batch Details first

Hi,

Has anyone been able to Implement a solution where the OPM Picking process looks into the availability in the Supply Subinventory defined on the Batch details first before it looks at the Stores.

In all documentations Supply Subinventory is also referred as Staging Subinventory, but the functionality around the Staging subinventory that is available when you do picking in OM or even Discrete Mfg is missing in OPM.

Has any one been able to get an Alternative solution on this?

We tried using Picking Rules and allocated Subinventory Picking Order but for Common items it fails.

Any other suggestions?
