Legal entity to Balancing Segment Value.

Hi,

We have one ledger and the structure as folows:

Legal Entity A--Operating UNit A---Baslancing Segment Value A

Legal Entity B--Operating UNit B---Baslancing Segment Value B

Legal Entity C--Operating UNit C---Baslancing Segment Value C

Three Legal entites and operating Units are created A, B & C ad balancing segment values A, B & C respectively.

We have different responsbibilities for each Operating Unit and BSV are restricted with Scurity Rules. So from "Purchasing A responsibility only "A" BSV is used.

All the three operating Units hae subledgers (PO, AP, AR & CM) data since Jan-2012.

New Requirement from Business is as follows:

From "Purchasing A responsibility" They wat to raise PO for all the BSV values. For this we can disbale the security rules. But need to understand the impact of using BSV "B & C" from a "Purchasing A responsibility". Operating Unit A is linked to Legal Entity A and we are trying to create PO from A operaing Unit to other BSV other than A.
