Why is requisition line still open when ISO line is cancelled

EBS R12.1.3

We're experimenting with Under Ship Telerance set at 100% to automatically cancel back-orders.

That seems to be working fine, with original back-ordered line which is created at Pick Release time being cancelled after we run Ship Confirm.

However when then checkign Item Supply/Demand screen, the quantity back-ordered is still displayed as demand against the Internal Requisition.

Which doesn't seem right.

Does anybody know if this is normal behaviour and whether there's a way to ensure the Internal Requsition line doesn't display in the Supply/Demand screen ?

The Shipping Transaction has status 'Interface' and the 'Workflow background Process' has run.
