Hello,

Kindly guide me in this configuration:

I have two nodes clustered through AIX hacmp ( one node is active and the other is passive ). We have so far one shared harddisk of size 150 GB , will upgrade later.

What is the best configuration for installing oracle database ?

Shall we configure ASM or the resources are poor now?

Is it correct that we should install the grid infrastructure software first on the two nodes , configure it and at last install the oracle database software , all on the shared harddisk ?

Please advise as we are newly working on this environment.
