How we can do a backup of RMAN on database E1 local?

We have a deployment server with a E1 database local. When we need to connet to this database, fist we need to execute a software ( usually in the route \JDEdwards\E910\SYSTEM\bin32\ and the program name: ReconfigureMSDE.exe) that decript the pasword. If we don't do it, we can't connect. Then, the RMAN need to connet to the database, how we can do a backup with RMAN?
