Oracle 12.1.3 - Asset Management - We are being acquired...

...and will need to revalue all of our assets but would like to keep our current asset numbers. (Do not want to create a whole new book if it can be avoided.)  I am looking at thousands of assets so some type of Mass update would be best.  I have been reviewing API and am not finding anything that allows for a change in values.  If you have been through this or have a suggestion I am gathering data and would appreicate your input.
