Patching an isolated yum repo built from ISO (OEL 6.6)

edited Apr 28, 2015 10:05AM in Linux Operating System (MOSC) 4 commentsAnswered

We built an isolated yum repo by downloading OEL 6.6 ISO from http://edelivery.oracle.com/linux (procedure used below). Now we want to update this repo with the latest Linux patches (rpms that we can grab individually at http://linux.oracle.com). But we would like to download and update using an ISO or some other wholesale. Is there an ISO that corresponds to the patch packages and how do we apply it to our ISO-build repo.

Thanks,

Dave - Oracle ACS
