Why does RCVRCERC form (expected Recipts ) have line of 0 qt

Hi Gurus

The expected receipts form has some lines of 0 quantity.

After analysis i came to know that we need to clear the lines in transaction status summary.

Here i want to know, why in the first place do we have lines is Transaction status summary ? As this is repetitive issue.

And can we do some thing to avoid the lines coming with 0 qt in receiving receipts ?
