12c :Non-CDB architecture support deadline ?

Hello,

We are planning to upgrade to 12.1.0.2.Our current DB version is 11.2.0.4.Found a documentation note ,which says NON-CDB database will be de-supported

in near future.Given the complexities involved ,we want to do it in a phased manner or would like to wait till 12.2.x.x is out before we upgrade to CDB

architecture.Also we find our upgrade rollback steps ll be complex ,if we migrate to CDB architecture during upgrade (as we have to change the compatible parameter for

CDB migration) .

Is there any article which says about a definite date of non-cdb architecture ?

Did any one  a successful rollback after upgrading to 12 CDB from 11.2 non-cdb ?
