Is it possible to define two different tax codes for the same event in a product?

Hi,
Is it possible to define two different tax codes for the same event in a product?
Say I have two rate tiers for a cycle arrear event in a product.
Usually only one tax code can be mapped to an event in a product.
But my requirement is to have two different tax codes for two different rate tiers of the same event in a product.
Is this possible with BRM pricing or we always need to create two different products with same event to acheive this functionality?
