Dropdown list hidden by viewbars, is this a known bug?

In 8.1.1.14 ps 3

My Account Status dropdown list has too many values to drop down below the Account Status box, so it goes above.  The problem is clear, a portion of the list is hidden by the viewbars.  Is this a known bug?  Is it fixed in patchset 4 or 5?  If not, any ideas for a work around?
