Define 'Minimum" Journal Approval Amount in General Ledger

I have an ask from my business user if it is possible to set a Journal Approval "minimum" for journals less than $5000.

For example,

User 1 Enter the following batch into GL:

Sample Batch Entry:                                        Total DR          Total CR

JE Batch Travel Expenses                                $4,999            $4,999

User 1's manager has a defined approval limit of $10,000

Is it possible to set a minimum, say of $5000, so that only journal batches "above" $5000 are routed for approval to User 1's manager?

The journal batch in this example of $4999 would bypass the JE approval requirement and be eligible to post directly.
