Asset Attribute Assignment Does Not Work Properly

Hi,

I defined an attribute group (ABC) with some attributes in it, and assign this attribute group to an asset group (XYZ).

But when I am actually going to enter attributes values (against an asset having asset group XYZ) routing from Define Asset Number (form) -> Attributes (button). I can view and enter attribute values against any attribute group (even not assigned to XYZ asset group). I mean no restriction or am I missing something ???
