ARM Data Load

We have set up everything in FDMEE for ARM and even loaded a flat file into FDMEE.  When we go into ARM and try and load data to a period, it is not showing any kind of connection or that FDMEE even exists.  Is there anything in ARM that needs to be set up to see FDMEE or should this have already happened with the set up in FDMEE? Any help with this is appreciated!
