Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. How the Oracle calculates the depreciation expense with prior period retirement date?

I am retiring an asset in March with Retire Date 01-Jan-2015. Will oracle calculates the monthly depreciation expense for Jan, Feb and March? why?
