Adding attachments after the Journal is posted

Hi,

According to standard we can not do any kind of modification to the Journal once it is posted. But in some cases we need to attach the necessary backup documents which we have not done at the time of posting. We know there is an ER going on for this , but if some one has a feasible work around for this please let us know.

Any help is much appreciated.
