S7310 X4140 disk access

Hello all,

Our S7310 (NOT clustered) has become redundant.

I would like to reuse the head (a X4140 server) as a Linux server.

When I boot the live CD for Linux I cannot see all the disks in the X4140.

Has anyone have any pointers in this area? or indeed if its possible, my understanding was it was a plain X4140 with special BIOS/Firmware when used as open storage S7310.
