Enabling Depreciate Flag t Assets for the first time results into catup dep calculation

Hi All,

We are carrying following steps-

1. Migrate assets into Oracle with Depreciation Flag = No on 31- Mar-2015. Asset Cost, YTD Depreciation and Accumulated Depreciation is migrated.

2. Run depreciation with period closure.

3. Enable the Depreciation Flag

4. Run depreciation for April.

Catchup depreciation is calculated as adjustment. As per my understanding, depreciation for the period of April only should be calculated by the system.

Can you help on this?

PS: Amortize Adjustment flag is disabled by default in step1 and step 3.
