How to create a Prompt on a BIP report based on a Subject Area

Hi,

I'm wonderering how to create a prompt (e.g. date between %DAY_FROM and %DAY_TO) in a BI Publisher Report that is using a Subject Area as the source. Has someone experiences with that and will share it?

The problem that I have at the moment, that because of the Subject Area as the source there is neither a Datamodel to prepare for prompts nor the possibility to define such a parameter (there is no option "is between). We can not use Dashboard Prompts, because it is not licensed - only BI Publisher and the BI Server are part of the license.
