tfa upgrade location question

Hi,

Customer asks the following:

"We are using 11.2.0.4.5 for the GRID software.  Can we upgrade tfa to the latest 12.1.2.4.0, since tfa is currently in the 11.2.0.4.5 $GRID_HOME?  Or would we put it in a home of it’s own?"


Is there any reason to not re-use the existing dir, or should a new dir be created each time?
