Unable to access Shared Services to update LDAP config after implementation account's password chang

Doc ID 1597209.1  directs to " [Use] the Shared Services Console, edit your MSAD/LDAP provider and update the password for the user" after changing the password for the user account used to install, configure the EPM system.  But I can't access Shared Services Consol after updating the account password.  How can I get this resolved?
