expdp from client that has no server installed

Is it possible to make expdp from client that has no Oracle server installed but only Oracle client and has no access to Oracle server disk system where Oracle Directory could be located?

Same question using impdp?

Is it posssible to use network_link option for direct exdp/impdp from client machine without server option and without access to oracle directory ?
