Merged mass additions do not have category ids populated

Hi,

I have some merged mass additions for tax and freight lines that do not have category or asset keys populated from AP.  Why is that?  All items that were matched to a PO include this information, but Types outside of 'Item' such as 'Tax' and 'Freight' do not have this information even though the PO number came through.  How do I get them to populate?
