Sales Order Entry and Origin Based Sales Tax

My client is in Missouri, which is a origin bases sales tax state.  All of the documentation talks about Sold To, Ship To and now Delivered To as the tax jurisdiction.  Is there any way to use the branch/plant and it related address book record to get the Tax Exp & Tax Rate/Area to calculate the taxes?  I imagine this is a common occurrence since 12 states that are Origin Based Sales Tax States.
