Internal requsition from min-max is honoring source org min order quantity in R12.2.3

We have gone through the below document and solution offered in the document gives desired outcome in R12.2.3

Step:

1) Define an min-max planned item with source type as inventory. Set the minimum order quantity of

source inventory greater than destination inventory.

when we were using 11i, we don't have the values setup in source inventory org and working as desired.  We do not want to perform above #1 step in R12.2.3.

We would like to opt-out the solution offered in R12.2.3 and use same old logic used in 11i.
