Encountered an Improper Argument" - On Click on "EIM Table Mapping..." in Siebel Tools

1. In Siebel Tools - Object Explorer navigate to the "Table" Object Type and query for a Siebel Base table (e.g. S_ORG_EXT).

2. Right click on the base table to invoke the context sensitive menu and choose "EIM Table Mapping..."
The following behaviour is encountered: The "EIM Table Mapping" dialog box does not appear and the following error is displayed:

"Encountered an Improper Argument".

This behaviour has also been verified with patch level 8.2.2.14.2 which is the most current patch for IP 2014 at the time of this writing.
