Altering object ownership / deleting old users

We are using JDE World A9.2.1 and need to delete user accounts for past employees, but we are being prohibited from this action on some.  How can we easily determine if a user owns objects?  Is there an inquiry / report that exists that can show us this easily?

If we use the 'Change User Profile Ownership' option will it alter the owner on the objects, provide us with a report of the objects that were altered, and then allow us to delete the old user profiles?
