OGG-01783 error

hi, not sure if this is the right place for this issue, I am new to this support community.

we are installing Oracle Golden Gate 11g on two Oracle X4 servers, Windows 2008 R2 SP1, Oracle 11gR2 db.

we have hit a snag trying to create ggsci> ADD SCHEMATRANDATA  userschema. the ggslog report shows the below error:

2015-04-27 14:55:05  ERROR   OGG-01783  Oracle GoldenGate Command Interpreter for Oracle:  Cannot verify existence of table function that is required to enable schema level supplemental logging, failed to find function.

my research on the web showed very limited content on this error and the information I did find suggested that a patch needed to be applied.
