Amortizing Attribute

There is an Amortizing/Accreting attribute with a list value, in the Transaction Detail for all adjustments.

I understand this is a new feature in 11.1.2.4.  Can you just confirm if this is built into the product and can not be removed on accounts where it does not apply?
