Temenos T24 certified with Oracle TDE encryption

Hi Gurus

We're using the application of "Temenos" T-24 core banking which is integrated with back end Oracle Database Enterprise 11.2.0.2 11gR2 Linux platform.


The data stored in Oracle table in html XML format which contains millions of rows in text without columns.


For the security of those tables which are having critical information of customer and the bank financial reports the compliance officer recommend us to secure a data in XML format. How do I implement security in term of data. I have some reservation of using Encryption to secure data in XML format.


1) What are the consequences of implementing TDE encryption in Oracle database with stored XML ?
