Disks become "unavailable" after unconfiguring pool

Has anyone else seen an issue where disks become unavailable after unconfiguring a pool?  I have two 7310s, each with multiple disk trays, not clustered.  Prior to unconfiguring the pools, each had 1 RAIDZ2 pool.  I am repurposing this storage as a temporary DR solution, but I needed better performance, so I wanted to delete the old pool and create a new one in a Mirror configuration.

After unconfiguring the pool, all drives now show up as "unavailable" in maintenance hardware.  The trays show up correctly in the BUI and CLI, but not the disks.  I am able to successfully illuminate the location LEDs on all trays and drives, and the system notices when a drive is removed or inserted, but it does not display any drive metadata, such as size, spindle speed, etc.

Howdy, Stranger!
