Why doesn't a field not show up in Data Selection when it is available in a Business View?

I am on Tools Release 9.1.4.3 in Report Design Aid.

I'm looking at the Detail Section of my R42565 application.  It is tied to the V42565A Business View.  There, I've looked up an available F4201.HOLD field in the Business View Column Browser and placed it into my report.  Now, I'd like to call/select that field in my Data Selection (Left Operand), but I notice that all the BC (aka Business View Connections) are tied to the F4211, thus the HOLD field doesn't exist as a selectable option.  What do I need to do to make it available?  Are there any documents that explain the relationship between the Business Views used
