To change start date of contract

Hi All,

While doing 'QA Check' , we are facing error as 'Start date and end date are not in chronological order or have invalid values for contract line 1.' and 'Start date and end date are not in chronological order or have invalid values for contract line 2.'.

I am trying to change contract header start date as '01-JAN-2012' (currently it is 01-JAN-2013). Error message is coming as 'Updating billing attributes is not allowed because billing has been already processed'.

On line level, start date is 01-JAN-2012.

How we can correct this error/change start date?
