BI Publisher Excel template doesn't display first three records in group

I have create a simple Excel template that lists asset details.  When I use the preview function in Excel, my report is generated correctly (2373 rows of data).  When I run the report as a concurrent program and publish to Excel using the same template, only 2370 rows of data are in the spreadsheet.  It's always the first three records that are missing.  Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to troublshoot this?  Thanks in advance
