R03B11Z1A not submitting post program version in PD environment?

Upon submitting job R03B11Z1A / CE00002 using USER of JDE in the PD environment, according to its processing options, it is supposed to submit a version of R09801 (ZJDE0006A) to post the transactions that it had successfully processed.  This did not happen and I do not know why [R09801 was not submitted).

I had to manually go into JDE and do a 'post by batch' which submits the job R09801/ZJED0006

What can I look for or what do I ask my CNC group to look for in the job output logs that prevented the R09801 version to be submitted?
