Replacing Mintek in a CAM set up??

 

I have a customer that runs Mintek asset management software. They would like to see if JDE could be used as a substitute system and retire Mintek. They use Mintek to record asset health, by way of scanning an asset tag and then keying in asset related data. The operator’s data keying is prompted by drop down questions to the operator sent to their scan device. This data is then fed back and held in the Mintek database. The challenge I see on this is getting the data into JDE by way of some sort of scan device. Has anyone
